Welcome to Somatic Earth.

Somatic Earth is a loving act of resistance to the lessons of our modern worldview. It is a journey of reconnection, respect, regeneration, and reciprocity with our bodies, each other, and the living world.

Do you feel overwhelmed by climate change and environmental destruction? If so, you’re not alone and your feelings are valid.

I help people process their eco-grief and climate anxiety so they can feel more hopeful, empowered & resilient in the face of the world’s challenges.

My work is nature-based and body-centered. I blend together Somatic Coaching and Ecotherapy to help people connect with their bodies, their community, and the natural world.

So if the world feels overwhelming, the future seems bleak, and you’re worried there's nothing we can do to fix the mess we're in, then I'd love for you to get in touch.

Hey Earth Body

Struggling with Eco-Grief and Climate Anxiety? Try these Resources.

We live in a culture of disconnect and disembodiment. We have been taught to listen exclusively to our conceptual, thinking selves at the expense of our emotions, sensations, instincts, intuition, and embodied knowing.

The modern world treats nature as an object, only valuing the resources it can extract for human benefit. Many of us have forgotten how to be in reciprocity and relationship with the world around us.

This way of living has resulted in isolation, grief, anxiety, burnout, trauma, inequality, injustice, and environmental disaster.

I invite you to experience a different way forward.

Why It Matters

"Feet on the ground, feeling this body, breathing this air, living on this planet. Our experience of ourselves, just as we are, is the doorway to real and lasting change."

  • "Working with Somatic Earth through the HopePunk program has shifted my relationship to my climate grief & anxiety in such crucial ways. I understand my experience so much more, and I feel better equipped to move forward with resilience, bringing all of me along and steering from a place of love and belonging as I explore how I can be effective in protecting and nurturing all that there is to cherish. Chelsea is an incredibly attuned and knowledgeable guide in the process, and this work is so important to our world right now."
